CONFINED SPACE ENTRY
This 16 hour program is designed to highlight the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 standard regarding permit required confined spaces. Topics to be covered during this class are confined space definitions, confined space evaluation, atmosphere monitoring, confined space equipment, the entry permit, duties of entrants and attendants, and information for rescue services.
We will train
confined space entry personnel to use appropriate forms and permits. Confined space entry training will provide comprehensive instruction
regarding the steps followed when performing a confined space entry; roles and responsibilities of the permit issuer, entrant and
safety attendant; forms and permits. There will be time for participants to practice air monitoring equipment and entering various
simulated confined spaces at your facility.
