FORKLIFT TRAINING – These classes will be performed onsite             

Instructor:

The course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge, techniques and materials to enable him/her to instruct other employees in the safe operation of industrial trucks per 29CFR 1910.178.

The course reaffirms the safety principles of forklift operation and addresses the instruction techniques necessary to effectively communicate the information to the operators. It will provide you with the information you need to help train your drivers, access their performance and  write a program.

Driver:

Provide participants a general understanding of the safe and efficient operation of an Industrial Forklift. Participants will be able to identify specific health and safety hazards associated with operating an Industrial Forklift.

All drivers completing the "driver evaluation" must have successfully completed the site specific classroom training. Each driver of an Industrial Forklift will be tested in the safe and efficient use of the sites equipment. Upon successful completion of the program, students  will receive a certification as Industrial Forklift Drivers.
